Board Meeting Presentation Template
Last week on The Public Speaker blog, I mentioned a template that I use for board meetings. In the comments of the blog post, one of the listeners asked that I post the template. That image above is the template. It’s just a quick way to conceptualize how concise a board meeting presentation needs to be. It’s a tool I use with executives who have asked me to help coach them in preparation for board presentations.
I didn’t originally include it because, honestly, it’s not much. It’s just a tool that I use with my clients to create the core message, to create the three to four supporting key ideas, and the support for those ideas. I then use the tool to practice the presentation and practice drilling the client with questions. Again, I’m not sure how useful the tool is without the coaching, but I don’t mind posting it.
